Homolog unveiled its Fall/Winter 2024-2025 haute couture collection at Tennis de la Cavalerie in Paris, under the creative direction of Emily Cheong. This collection, characterized by nobility and elegance, incorporates elements of “feng shui and astrology,” with designs inspired by the nine stars of the Big Dipper, symbolizing human destiny in various Asian mythologies.
Each star is represented through refined patterns and craftsmanship. For instance, the star Wenqu, associated with wisdom and the northwest, is celebrated with a unique artistic aesthetic. Homolog’s iconic pieces, such as embroidered dresses and architectural ponchos, are enhanced to combine comfort with a divine dimension.
The collection pays tribute to influential women like Sister Theresa, Queen Elizabeth II, and Hypatia, the Egyptian astronomer. The show’s music, inspired by Chinese medicine’s sound theories, aims to heal the soul by harmonizing sounds with natural elements.
The event was held under an arched roof made of 1,400 wooden pieces, designed by architect R. Farradèche in 1924. Like this exclusive club, Homolog offers high-end services to a limited clientele, including personalized modifications of precious vintage garments, ensuring their beauty and wisdom endure through time.
