In Nice, the new fashion season began in style. For one evening, Galeries Lafayette Nice Masséna transformed its iconic arcades into an open-air runway. The annual fashion show brought together privileged guests, personalities and fashion enthusiasts, who came to discover the key trends for Fall-Winter 2026–2027. The show offered a contemporary vision of the season, combining sophisticated silhouettes, enveloping textures and statement pieces.
For Fabrice Criado, Personal Shopper at Galeries Lafayette Nice Masséna, the presentation was an opportunity to highlight the key trends that will define the coming season. Knitwear takes an important place, alongside coats, faux fur and leather all essential elements of a sophisticated autumn-winter wardrobe.
When it comes to colour, the show opened with a striking “full black” statement before gradually introducing prints and bold combinations. Checks and mixed patterns brought energy and character to the silhouettes, creating a wardrobe that balances timeless elegance with a contemporary edge. The selection also showcased the season’s iconic pieces across the different fashion universes of the department store.
A New Destination for Designer Fashion
Another highlight of the season is La Galerie, the new space dedicated to a carefully curated selection of designers, located on the first floor of Galeries Lafayette Nice Masséna. Opened a few months ago, the space offers a more exclusive and fashion-forward selection, further enhancing the shopping experience.
The selection showcases prestigious fashion houses and international names including Givenchy, Zimmermann, Jacquemus and Phoebe Philo, among others. In accessories, footwear from Jimmy Choo and Aquazzura, together with other luxury labels, completes this high-end offering.
