Vespa Unveils the Vespa 946 Horse and “In Sella”, the Third Drop of the “Al Vento” Collection

Vespa expands its Lunar Collection with the Vespa 946 Horse, a limited edition created as a tribute to the symbolism of the Year of the Horse. Following previous releases inspired by the Dragon and the Snake, this new chapter celebrates the values traditionally associated with the horse grace, momentum, and resilience through a refined interpretation of the Vespa 946, an icon of Italian design and craftsmanship.

The Vespa 946 Horse features a distinctive “bay” shade, a deep brown reminiscent of a horse’s gleaming coat, enhanced by a sophisticated matte-and-gloss interplay across its steel bodywork. Gold accents punctuate the silhouette, including an embossed “V” monogram set within a horseshoe motif beneath the saddle. Equestrian references continue with a handcrafted leather seat, produced by Italian artisans, and premium detailing on the handlebars and mirrors.

A curated range of accessories completes the release, including a matching leather rear bag, a windscreen with aluminium supports, and an open-face helmet marked by a raised gold “V”.

In parallel, Vespa introduces “In Sella”, the third fashion drop from “Al Vento”, featuring a new archive-inspired Royal crest a mirrored horse and dachshund seen notably on a wool varsity jacket with gold embroidery. Pre-orders open January 26 on vespa.com and at VESPA THE EMPTY SPACE in Milan.
