Opened in 1980, the museum-factory in Grasse immerses visitors in the world of perfumery and the craftsmanship of traditional fragrance creation. But perhaps the most fascinating experience began in 1996, when Galimard opened a once-secret door to the public a unique atelier concept where seasoned perfumers and their assistants share the secrets of the prestigious “Nose” profession and guide guests through the olfactory universe of Jean de Galimard, the brand’s founder.
Everyone has dreamed, at some point, of create the one a personal and exclusive perfume that reflects their taste, seduces the senses, and sets them apart. At Le Studio des Fragrances Galimard, this dream becomes reality. Seated in front of your own perfume organ of 126 notes, you’ll explore a variety of base ingredients and learn how to combine them.
With the help of expert staff trained by the in-house “Nose”, you’ll receive an engaging introduction to the structure of a fine perfume its top, heart, and base notes. Then, over the course of two hours, you’ll unleash your creativity and craft your own bespoke 100 ml fragrance, which you’ll take home in a personalized bottle named by you.
Your unique formula will be recorded in a confidential database, making it possible to reorder it later as a perfume, eau de parfum, body lotion, shower gel, or room spray. At the end of the master class, you’ll receive a Student Perfumer Certificate. Simply unique!
