JUANA MARTÍN PRESENTS “IDENTIDAD”

A COUTURE MANIFESTO OF HERITAGE AND MODERNITY

Paris,  Palais de Tokyo, Saut du Loup

For her sixth Haute x, JUANA MARTÍN unveils “Identidad”, a heartfelt tribute to authenticity, craftsmanship, and cultural legacy  at a time when fashion often seems to drift away from its roots.

More than just a collection, “Identidad” is a powerful statement. It speaks of originality and integrity, affirming the value of heritage in a world where uniqueness is often sacrificed for uniformity. As the only Spanish fashion house officially included in the Paris Haute Couture calendar, Juana Martín continues her mission: to elevate a fashion deeply infused with identity, tradition, and cultural richness.

An Ode to Feminine Power and Flamenco Heritage

With “Identidad,” Juana Martín draws inspiration from legendary figures such as Lola Flores and Carmen Amaya  women whose spirit, artistry, and intensity have left an indelible mark on flamenco and on Spanish culture. Through their legacy, the designer reimagines flamenco not as a nostalgic relic but as a living, breathing force, reinterpreted with a modern edge.

The result is a collection that seamlessly blends bold sequins, ethereal fringes, and refined silhouettes, echoing the elegance of the 1920s while remaining firmly rooted in Andalusian tradition. Each piece evokes movement, strength, and emotion a fusion of past and future, where craftsmanship and cultural memory guide the vision forward.

A Celebration of Soul and Style

Presented today at the Saut du Loup space in the Palais de Tokyo, the Spring-Summer 2025 collection was brought to life by the haunting voice of Estrella Morente, whose deep, soulful presence gave the show an emotional resonance few can rival.

The event was made possible with the ongoing support of Málaga de Moda, Fundación Cajasol, and Córdoba Es Más loyal partners who share Juana Martín’s commitment to promoting Spanish excellence on the international stage.

The footwear, designed by Italian luxury house Francesca Bellavita, added a sophisticated and contemporary touch, while the beauty direction, led by Menchu Benítez and Rafael Maqueda in collaboration with ICON, perfectly complemented the elegance and strength of the collection.

Fashion as Legacy and Conviction

With “Identidad,” Juana Martín reaffirms that fashion is not just about trends  it is about soul, heritage, and bold conviction. In every seam and silhouette lies a story, a voice, a cultural imprint that dares to be different.

In a constantly evolving fashion landscape, Juana Martín remains faithful to her roots and in doing so, she leads a movement where couture is not only luxurious but deeply meaningful.
