Since 1946, Vespa has been more than a scooter — it has been a symbol of Italian design, independence, and emotion. Today, that legacy finds new expression with VESPA THE EMPTY SPACE, an immersive lifestyle concept unveiled in the heart of Milan.
Located at Via Broletto 13, this visionary hub transcends the boundaries of retail to become a cultural space — part gallery, part café, part design atelier. Conceived as an “open container” for imagination, it reinterprets the Vespa universe through architecture, fashion, fragrance, and experience.
Inside, curved walls of satin steel recall the iconic bodywork of the scooter, while warm oak details add a sense of intimacy. The centerpiece, the Vespa Café, captures the brand’s convivial spirit — a place where creativity and community meet over espresso and ideas. Even the smallest design gestures — oil-can teapots, hex-bolt saucers, metallic trays — evoke the spirit of the workshop, transforming everyday rituals into a celebration of craft and memory.
The concept also embraces Vespa’s AL VENTO fashion collection, a series of playful, nostalgic, and innovative drops:
- PILOT DOGS, inspired by freedom and irony, turns the Vespa dog mascot into a style icon.
- MISCELA NOSTALGIA revives the scent and spirit of two-stroke engines and vintage racing jackets.
- IN SELLA merges the energy of the horse and the Vespa — a tribute to elegance in motion.
Completing the sensory journey, Vespa introduces its first scented candles, created in collaboration with master perfumers from Grasse. AL VENTO embodies summer freedom with notes of basil and cedarwood, while MISCELA NOSTALGIA captures the scent of leather, lavender, and iron — pure Vespa soul in a flame.
VESPA THE EMPTY SPACE isn’t just a store — it’s a manifesto of movement, creativity, and Italian lifestyle. A tribute to freedom, craftsmanship, and timeless imagination.
