Reda Karosiene is a beautiful influential lady and businesswoman. Her glittering career is simply dizzying: Mrs Lithuania in 1994,
3 gorgeous successful children, numerous projects and travelling all over the world to realise them. Our meeting with Reda Karosiene for the interview and cover realisation took place in sunny Marbella.
Reda today you are on Marbella, tomorrow in Dubai, the South of France, Lithuania …. How strong is your passion for travelling and which country do you prefer the most?
Travelling is my air, it gives absolute development and thinking. New countries, new culture open horizons, birth of ideas, business and interesting acquaintances. My favourite country for me is my native Lithuania, where I was born and grew up, where my family lives. I love all my journeys and each one has some special place in my life.
Your career has been eventful, can you share some of the moments of your life that are particularly memorable?
My career started in 1994 when I won the Mrs Lithuania contest and opened my own business: an image and beauty studio where we trained, transformed and turned women into real beauty ladies. In those post-Soviet times there were very few fashion magazines, there was no Internet with all the information, so it was very exciting and important for women to do this. Then I worked on television as a beauty expert. This is how I stayed in beauty for the whole life: numerous international beauty contests, a clinic in Lithuania, which includes the widest range of beauty services, surgical medicine and all with the latest apparatus technologies, new laboratories, dental services. We were pioneers in Lithuania, the first private clinic with an individual approach. Since then 30 years have passed and we are always the most advanced beauty clinic and I am still happy to live and work in beauty.
In your opinion the main character criteria necessary for a businesswoman? And what principles do you follow in life?
Undoubtedly the balance between family and children, career and financial earnings. If you find this inner balance, if you do what you like and do not strive only to earn money, but to harmonise everything correctly, this is what success is all about. It is also important to be at peace and make time for yourself.
You look beautiful, tell us about your beauty secrets?
Thank you for the compliment. When you are young, beauty is a natural phenomenon. But when you have already passed some period of life, beauty is what you have accumulated in your life. Of course genes are very important, thanks to my parents. But first of all it is important to discipline body and spirit, inner thoughts, which should be strong and calm. One should never be angry with anyone. When a woman is angry or resentful, she will never be beautiful, it spoils beauty very much. There should be daily work on yourself, sports, sleep, proper food, positive thoughts and competent intervention of new beauty technologies. Today, thanks to them, it is possible to preserve and prolong beauty, but it is important to dose correctly to remain yourself. When eyes shine, when the sun shines inside – a woman is always beautiful, loved, radiant and creates her world.
What keeps you moving forward every day?
Your source of energy?
My vitality. I love my life very much, for me it is like a book that I read. And I move forward to read each new page of life with interest, curiosity and thrill. I am grateful and trust my Universe, everything that happens to me I gratefully accept.
Just recently your new project Naturalluxury was launched. What was the idea behind the creation of this brand?
How often do you think about the quality of the air you breathe? My friends and I once asked ourselves this question in an unobtrusive conversation about our everyday life, and we came to some disappointing conclusions. As they say, when criticizing, make suggestions. So our project was born, ‘heart project’ as we call it, Natural Luxury. We have created a unique 100% natural collection of fragrances, combining the wisdom of centuries-old traditions of aromatherapy and modern scientific research. I can responsibly declare that you will not find anything similar in the world! Based on the knowledge of professors, aroma experts known as ‘Nose’ in Grasse and aromatherapy schools in France, we have meticulously created blends of natural essential oils unique in their aroma and healing properties over the course of a year.
– Tell us about the Naturalluxury fragrance variation. And how you can purchase the products.
We currently have three lines of fragrances that have different personification. These are scented candles and oils for the home. Fragrance oils for transport: car, yacht, aircraft. And also a line for hotels, spas, beauty salons. Just imagine how much more pleasant your journey from home to work will be if the interior of your car will be fragrant not just with an unobtrusive pleasant aroma, but with the vapours of truly healing essential oils.
Our unique collection of aromatic candles is a combination of a blend of natural essential oils placed in natural soya wax with Himalayan salt and Baltic amber. By the way, you don’t need to light the candle to smell it, just open the lid and the luxurious fragrance will immediately begin to fill your space. As I said above, the uniqueness of our products lies not only in the truly exquisite fragrances, but mainly in the unique healing properties of the essential oils themselves. Due to the breadth of fragrances we produce, our aromatic oils for the wellness industry have already started to gain popularity both in Europe and the Middle East. – Do you have any new projects in the pipeline that you would like to share?
There are so many projects and they are born one by one. I am excited and going step by step towards their realisation. One of them is the most cherished one – to create a home for the elderly together with children who have no parents. Elderly people who are closed in nursing homes miss their children very much, their families who are at work, in other countries or just can’t always live with their parents. And children in orphanages dream of parental attention and love, of life stories and a close person who can be near, hug, press to himself, who has time to care. We need to combine, to bring them together, to be there for each other, to live together. I know that this is not an easy project, but thanks to our medical capabilities, it can be done. And then, why not open such homes in other countries. That’s my dream!
