Every September, Cannes transforms into the beating heart of international yachting. Yet the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival promises to be more dazzling than ever. From September 9 to 14, Port Canto will welcome 128 brand-new sailing yachts over 10 meters, including no fewer than 30 world premieres, setting the stage for a spectacular celebration of innovation and craftsmanship.
Since 2019, the Sailing Area has established itself as the world’s foremost showcase for large yachts. Stretching across more than 850 meters of quayside, it brings together monohulls and multihulls in an unrivaled setting, while onshore shipyards, equipment suppliers, and service providers complete this immersive universe dedicated entirely to sailing.
Among this year’s highlights, several premieres redefine the future of yachting. The Fountaine Pajot New 41, a hybrid catamaran equipped with solar panels and advanced battery systems, embodies the new era of sustainable navigation. The MODX 70, fully electric with zero emissions, goes even further offering silent cruising while pioneering a new standard in eco-friendly yachting. At the opposite end of the spectrum stands the Wallywind 110, the show’s flagship. With its carbon hull, futuristic design, and interiors worthy of a 60-meter superyacht, it exemplifies the perfect union of innovation, performance, and luxury.
International shipyards bring their unique flair to the event: the Seawind 1370, designed for long-distance voyages; the Moon 60, boasting a panoramic flybridge with jacuzzi and bar; and the ICE 64 Explorer, conceived for those seeking faraway adventures without compromising elegance. The Swan 51 reflects Scandinavian refinement and performance, the Global Explorer 68 showcases Brazilian expertise in long-range cruising, and the Lagoon Eighty 2 offers serene comfort with its vast living spaces and fluid design.
Beyond the technological innovations, the Cannes Yachting Festival is a celebration of the Mediterranean art of living. Walking the docks, discovering new designs, and meeting the visionaries behind these vessels make the event an unparalleled experience where the future of yachting is unveiled.
For six days in September, Cannes is not only the capital of cinema and luxury but also the global stage for sailing excellence reaffirming its position as the world’s premier destination for those who dream of the sea.
