Aurelija Bulaukaitė “OLIALIA”

Aurelija tell us the story about how beginning your love with art.

I grew up seeing the world like a movie set – every street corner, every shadow, every strange little detail looked like it belonged in a frame. Art wasn’t a choice, it was a compulsion. I needed to re-stage reality in my own way, exaggerate it, glamorize it, make it feel bigger and stranger than life itself. That’s where it began. I want to live a fun life.

What is your inspiration for create new picture?

I’m obsessed with dualities – beauty and kitsch, glamour and absurdity, perfection and imperfection, chaos and harmony. I’ll take inspiration from a nightclub table as much as from a Renaissance painting. It’s about extracting poetry from the everyday, then twisting it until it feels almost surreal.

You are also co-owner of Olialia brand. Present us this project.

Olialia is like a pop icon dressed as a brand. It’s unapologetic, playful, and confident – a celebration of excess and beauty without shame. With Olialia, we create not just products, but an attitude. It’s a fun brand, a perfectly manicured hand flipping the rules with a rosé glass.

Just recently you created Olialia rosé. How was this experience as a winemaker?

It felt like painting, but with flavor. Rosé is such a symbolic drink as it is pink, feminine, but also powerful. Crafting it was like staging a fantasy: a château in the South of France, golden hour, laughter, flirting with glasses. Choosing Olialia Rosé was never just about taste, it was about values. The château itself is a sixth-generation family business, deeply rooted in tradition, but also wildly in love with art – which made it the perfect partner.

The Domaine de la Périnade has this aura, producing wines for Crazy Horse sparks and sitting proudly in the cellars of Ferrari and Louboutin owners. It felt like stepping into a secret society where elegance, decadence, and creativity all meet in a single glass.

We tasted over one hundred different rosés before discovering the one. The cuvée we chose is pure 100% Grenache, born from the château’s sandy soils, which give it both complexity and restraint. Its hue is pale, clear, crystalline – with that almost impossible bluish tint.

On the nose: white peach, pomegranate, citrus zest, with this whisper of licorice and pepper that makes you lean in closer. On the palate, it’s crisp yet velvety, like silk falling against the skin. The finish is smooth, fruity, endlessly seductive. And maybe the most magical detail? You wake up the next morning feeling like a princess, with no headache.

Do you plan to expand the brand Olialia with other products?

Absolutely. Olialia is not limited to one category, it’s a Universe. I see fragrances, objects, even experiences that blur the line between art and lifestyle. I want Olialia to be everywhere, like a glamorous ghost haunting your dreams and your minibar at the same time.

You are filled with energy, projects and plans. What drives you?

To create a world that feels cinematic, where reality is filtered through beauty, humor, and exaggeration. My dream is for people to step into my projects and feel like they’ve fallen into a parallel universe – familiar, but slightly too glossy to be real. My dream is to sell dreams. What drives me is obsession. When I’m consumed by an idea, I don’t let it go until it exists in the world.

Your life motto?

Make it bigger, make it stranger, make it unforgettable. Make it fast. But most importantly – with love.
