Presents her creation “Parachute of Love”
In September, in the town of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera, during the Prestige Automobile Elegance competition and in honor of the 120th anniversary of the city, the Neptune Gallery and the adjacent embankment hosted a show of the collection by Parisian designer Angela Shapovalova. The collection, called “UNDER THE SAILS OF EMOTIONS” fully reflected its name. Translucent silhouettes fluttering in the wind seemed to carry you away to a mysterious land where femininity, beauty, and poetry reign. As always, Angela showed the audience her passion for сolors. For her, the color of the model in combination with the shape is able to convey a certain vibration. The designer likes to base her work on abstract colored drawings of emotions experienced by people, which she subsequently transforms into her multi-colored models. In her opinion, they are some kind of “elixirs” capable of filling their wearers with this or that necessary emotion, for example: love, joy, harmony… Each dress of the designer, through its shapes and colors, goes far beyond simple visual harmony. They are created, designed and cut to the sound of your emotions. The designer wants to create vibrational dresses, rather than a fashion.
The show was completed by a dress with the funny name “Parachute of Love”. It was so big with a transparent heart behind, through which the whole World seemed to be visible. The extraordinary dress became a kind of manifestation of the designer. She wanted to follow it and drive away in one of the retro convertibles driving behind it to magical lands where Peace, Dream and Eternal Love rule.
